Our Client needs a PeopleSoft Payroll Designer for a 12 month Contract job near Piedmont, CA.

Use skills in PeopleSoft Payroll to analyze, design, configure and support development and testing.
Provide direction and leadership to the Payroll Team.
Provide Program leaders with regular status for supporting program tracking of Payroll Team progress.
3 - 4 large PeopleSoft HCM implementation experience.
6 - 8 yrs of experience with PeopleSoft Payroll as background.
Good communication, be a strong leader and a team player.
REQUIRED SKILLS:

years of hands of experience as PeopleSoft Functional Tester
Experience in at least 1 implementation of 9.x version of PeopleSoft with big, distributed customer.
Expertise in designing and developing test cases, scripts, scenarios and reports.
Good functional knowledge on at least two PeopleSoft modules i.e. ESS, MSS, HR, Benefits, Absence Management, Payroll, TAM and Commitment Accounting is needed.
Experience with PS Query and SQL is needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in all phases of testing including Functional Unit, System Integration, Parallel, User Acceptance and Performance testing.
Should be able to perform successfully in a team setting by aligning to the overall priorities of application testing.
Strong critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation and facilitation skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally with variety of people to accomplish goals and support others.
Strong testing expertise in script writing, execution and defect resolution.
Should be proactive in completing the job assigned with little direction and be adaptable to changing job requirements.
Strong working knowledge of testing tools, preferably Quality Center and QTP is required.
Experience with MS Word, Excel and Visio is required.
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
PREFERRED
Prior experience of Higher Education or Healthcare is preferred.
Knowledge on workflow is desirable.
Demonstrated experience with developing automated functional test scripts from test specifications and developing functional libraries and utility scripts.
Knowledge of agile development methodology is preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
